Pillar 1: PV & Cable Assemblies

Balance of System (BOS) products are the critical components that move power from the module to the inverter — the electrical backbone of every utility-scale solar project.

Balance of System (BOS) products are the critical components that move power from the module to the inverter — the electrical backbone of every utility-scale solar project. We supply the wire, connectors, cable assemblies, and supporting materials that keep installations moving efficiently from construction through operations and maintenance. Whether sourced from trusted manufacturers or assembled in-house to your project specifications, our products are built for the demands of utility-scale deployment — backed by a team that understands field conditions, compressed schedules, and real-world installation challenges.

What We Supply

Four product families that cover the Balance of System conductor side of every utility-scale solar project — from the bulk reel down to the connector that mates into the module.

Cable Assemblies — PCWC Built

Custom cable assemblies are where we put our expertise to work. PCWC manufactures jumpers, whips, and homeruns built to your exact length, conductor, and connector specifications — pre-terminated, tested, and labeled at our Minden facility before they ship, ensuring consistency and

quality from the first cable to the last. By delivering ready-to-install assemblies, we help reduce field labor, eliminate costly splice and termination errors, and keep installation crews

focused on building rather than cutting and crimping onsite.

Whether you need a small batch of custom jumpers or thousands of homeruns for a utility-scale build, our production team provides fast turnaround, reliable quality, and scalable manufacturing to keep your project on schedule.

PV Connectors

PV connectors are the weather-sealed connection points that link module leads, jumpers, and homeruns into a continuous, reliable DC circuit. We stock the connector families most commonly specified by EPCs and solar contractors — Stäubli, MC4 (the original industry-standard connector), Amphenol H4, TE T-6 for Canadian Solar modules, and QC4-compatible alternatives.

Most options are rated to 1500 VDC and provide IP68 environmental protection when properly installed, ensuring long-term performance in demanding outdoor conditions. By maintaining inventory across multiple connector platforms, we can match the equipment already installed on your site — helping avoid costly redesigns, compatibility issues, or project delays caused by back-ordered components.

Whether for new construction, maintenance, or system expansion, we have the connector solutions to keep your project moving.

Bulk PV Wire & Cable

Bulk photovoltaic wire is the electrical conductor backbone of any solar array — carrying power from strings to combiners and from combiners to inverters. We stock 2KV USE-2 / RHH/RHW-2 dual-rated PV wire in sizes ranging from #14

AWG through #4 AWG, available in black, red, and green to support a variety of installation requirements. All wire is UL 4703 listed, sunlight-resistant, direct-burial rated, and engineered to withstand the extreme temperatures, UV exposure, and environmental conditions common to utility-scale and commercial solar installations.

Available on 500-foot reels and 2,500-foot master spools, our inventory is designed to support projects of any size. By sourcing from multiple trusted manufacturers, we help ensure consistent

availability and reliable supply — even when industry production constraints impact a single mill — so your project stays on schedule.

Pre-cut Wire & Whip Wire

Pre-cut and whip wire bridges the gap between bulk wire and fully assembled cable assemblies — providing project- specific lengths that are ready for fast installation. Cut to exact specifications and often supplied with one end stripped, these products reduce field labor and streamline termination

work both onsite and in assembly shops. For utility-scale solar projects with thousands of repetitive cable runs, pre-cut wire eliminates one of the most time-consuming and error-prone installation tasks — measuring and cutting wire in the field.

We manufacture all pre-cut and whip wire from the same UL- listed PV wire used in our bulk inventory, ensuring consistent quality, traceability, and specification compliance from the reel through final installation. The result is faster deployment, reduced material waste, and improved installation efficiency

across the project.
